Guinness Raises a Glass to LFF and Firefighters with $224K Donation

| by admin

Yesterday in New York City, Guinness raised a glass in honor of the Leary Firefighters Foundation and presented the LFF with a check for $223,800 in support of firefighters nationwide. LFF Founder Denis Leary and LFF Board member Jim Serpico were on hand to accept the donation. This marks the fourth year Guinness and the LFF have partnered on fundraising efforts in support of firefighters.

The funds will be used to provide equipment, technology and training for firefighters everywhere including upcoming leadership training and development courses for first responders. Guinness’ 2014 donation to LFF supported the Foundation’s pilot leadership training course at the FDNY in January 2015.

The event also kicked off the brand’s goal to raise even more next year in support of firefighters nationwide by St. Patrick’s Day 2016 to honor men and women who are MADE OF MORE.
